Police Riot Artwork

3. Social Critisism: About Police Riot Artwork Violence And How we fight.

Hey there girls and guys!
In todays artwork i wanted to make a police riot artwork that stirrs. I dont know what it stirrs but it came to me as a call to action. A desperate try to make a change. It just came to be a policeman hitting someone. The black and white color scheme is to intensifiy the whole picture giving it more epression. It should be about violence, it should show the cruelty but nontheless it should show beauty in depicting. Also the red letters are quite the eyecatcher, immediatly drawing attention towards the written stuff. then you get the black and white difference. It works really well with the bright trousers of the man below and the mostly black torso of the police man.

A police riot artwork to talk about violence and freedom.

Wild Thoughts on Artworks like this.

If i am being honest artworks like that seem to resonate with the wrong people most of the time, which intern sucks on its own, but for em i just wanted to create something attention grabbing and kind of relevant in todays political landscape. Not that i want to enforce change i just want to let people vent. And what better way to vent than to create art for my mood. This Artwork also came to live during a period where i wasnt sure what was going on, not that i didnt have control over myself but in general. I also tried to use negative space with the background, like if you look at it it seems like the white 90° angles make a black square, which intern acts womderfully with the rest of the picture, its all about the weight of the picture and the colors.

I thought about putting this poster like image on tshirts or equal stuff, it might also work as a poster. Or i do it as a screen print on good thick paper to show the world. It really depends on what i come up with.

Thats it then.

Thats it for today just tell me your feelings down below and if it fits your kind of style, remember it should be purely artistic and not overly controversial

See you round!
